Hailing from Sydney, Australia, esteemed producer Alex Preston has teamed up with emerging talent Javeon once again to release stomping house gem ‘Chase The Rain’. Garnering thousands of plays in just one week, the duo have delivered the perfect follow up to their previous collab with Dave Winnel. Now, calling on the talents of a fellow Aussie producer, ‘Chase The Rain’ receives astonishing remix treatment courtesy of Mark Maxwell.
Since graduating from the Red Bull Academy in 2014, Mark Maxwell has been proving his worth within the electronic dance scene. Storming his way through 2017 with the release of his diverse EP ‘Take My Hand’, Maxwell has been honing his talents, and this remix is a defining exemplar of his production talents.
Maxwell takes on Preston’s punchy single and delivers a funky reboot, with a definite nod to the early pioneers of house music. The young producer infuses textured synths and a booming bassline, whilst allowing for Javeon’s distinctive vocal to remain at centre stage. Surreptitious xylophones and dreamy piano chords over-arch this track, and that drop is sure to set floors ablaze – keeping the real partygoers up all night long.
