Fresh off a co-headlining Hyper Future Tour and appearances at HARD, Moonrise and Ever After Music Festival, MUST DIE! closes out the summer with his highly anticipated ‘Forever Digital’ EP via Never Say Die Records.
Multiple productions have followed since the release of the dubstep innovator’s widely praised ‘Neo Tokyo’ EP in 2015, including collaborations with Skrillex on “VIPs” and with Habstrakt on “Eden,” a massive remix for Flux Pavilion and Matthew Koma’s “Emotional” and his single “2020 AD,”as listeners have eagerly waited for a colossal follow-up EP. ‘Forever Digital’ continues the momentum and once again demonstrates the production versatility and novel sound design fans and industry heavyweights alike have come to love from the powerhouse producer.
The 4-track EP sees MUST DIE! exploring a range of compositions, with digitally driven influences to create a sonic journey from start to finish. Kicking off with an intro evoking thrillingly contrasting feelings of futuristic cityscapes and 90’s action film nostalgia on “Shibuya Overdrive,” the cinematic ambience can be felt throughout, tactfully transitioning into “Ultra Beam” and then dropping into an anthemic dubstep hit. “The Weapon” explores newer territories, with bass-house influences and levels out the EP before concluding with irresistibly scorching sounds on “Nova Machine.”
