Nicole Moudaber has been in the techno game since she started her “Trashy Renaissance” parties in Beirut, Lebanon after the 1996 war. The queen moved her “Soundworx” parties to London in the early 2000’s and quickly made a name for herself, bringing Paco Osuna for his London debut.
Moudaber’s passion for music could not be contained and she DJing and went to the famed music school Point Blank. In 2008, she released Believe on DRUMCODE record label headed by the legend Adam Beyer and in 2012 she remixed “Chemistry” by the one and only Carl Cox which won her a IDMA award which launched her into the international stage
Her majesty is not content being idle. Queen Moudaber travels the globe, playing anything from small intimate venues to huge festivals like Exit, Glastonbury, WMC, Time Warp, EDC, Awakenings and every other renowned electronic music festival. To bring back nostalgia of her roots, Nicole still curates events like MoodRAW and her In The MOOD parties, which have included annual sold out showcases at WMC in Miami and BPM in Mexico.
I listen to Nicole’s In The Mood radio show every week, I’ve personally seen her live twice before and there is a reason why they call her the queen. Nicole Moudaber has a way to bring you on a music and emotional journey, and through her live mixing and remixing she is able to create an undeniably unique sound to pull on your heart strings and make you feel a whole array of emotions.
