Track of the Day: Rudimental ft. Emeli Sandé – Free (Zwette Edit)

Happy Friday the 13th! Today’s track of the day ‘Free’ originally comes from drum & bass quartet Rudimental featuring mesmerizing vocals from Emeli Sandé. The highly successful collaboration between the two British artists has garnered much acclaim and even spawned a remix by legendary rapper Nas, as well as remixes by Maya Jane Coles, Roy Davis Jr., and Jack Beats.  Our favorite version, however comes from little-known German DJ Zwette. Subtly creating a more uptempo, danceable version to the melodic original while maintaining the magic of the original, Zwette’s edit belongs anywhere from your car stereo on a winter morning to opening sets around the world.
